Now that the City Council has selected a preferred alternative to study (on August 15, 2017), efforts are underway to begin analysis and prepare an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the El Camino Real Corridor Specific Plan (ECR Plan). One of the first steps in any EIR process is to issue a Notice of Preparation (NOP), which informs agencies and the community that the environmental analysis for the project is set to begin and gives everyone an opportunity to provide comments on the scope of the analysis. The NOP for the ECR Plan can be found here.
The public comment period (30-day minimum) to receive input on the scope of the ECR Plan EIR was from Monday, October 30, 2017 to Friday, December 1, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
A Public Scoping Meeting was held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, 456 West Olive Avenue in Sunnyvale.
